Watch your favorite cartoon. Who is the main character? Draw a picture of them and write 3 words that describe them.

Week 7 (July 19-July 23)

Put a handful of coins in a jar, pull out five coins randomly. Do you have enough money to buy something that is 25cents? Do you have enough money to buy something that is 50cents? Do you have enough money to buy something that is 95cents? Repeat with a different group of coins.

Identify and correct errors with plural and possessive nouns

Throughout the day challenge yourself to tell the time on any analog clock that you see. Check your answers with an adult or on a digital clock.

Make a list of zoo animals. Sort them by different categories, such as type of animal (mammals, fish, etc.) or coloring (green, brown, striped, etc.).

Plan a family activity day. Decide how much money to spend and research events and activities in your area and choose an affordable activity the whole family can enjoy. Allow enough time for the activity, and remember to include food in the day's plan. (This online Kids Party Checklist will help.) Don't forget to bring a camera and take lots of pictures. Create a family scrapbook of your special day.
