Grow fresh herbs in containers. Use old coffee cans, milk jugs, mason jars, plastic cups, or anything else you have around the house. Keep your herb garden on a patio or windowsill.
Week 8 (July 26-July 30)

Watch a movie and write a review about it. How many stars would you give it? What did you like about it? What didn't you like? What category would this type of movie fall in (drama, humor, action, etc.)?

Plan a family activity day. Decide how much money to spend and research events and activities in your area and choose an affordable activity the whole family can enjoy. Allow enough time for the activity, and remember to include food in the day's plan. (This online Kids Party Checklist will help.) Don't forget to bring a camera and take lots of pictures. Create a family scrapbook of your special day.

You can’t cut and paste at will, and so you have to get it right the first time. To whom can you write? Rihanna, New Direction, The CEO of Forever 21 retail stores, the manager of the local McDonald’s. Use Google to find addresses.
